I can't emphasize enough how much power comes from doing the right motion in your golf swing. I am proof that you do not have to be big and strong to hit the ball far.
I encourage all golfers to first maximize your swing and discover effortless power before you try to do extra things like working out and finding distance clubs.
That can all be icing on the cake but you want to discover power within yourself and a lot of times you will find that...THAT is enough.
If I can carry 240-250 yds with 260-285 yard roll outs with being 5'6 fluctuating from 115-123 lbs without working out with weights, than you have plenty of strength to discover A LOT of distance and power.
