I managed to sneak into the Titleist Fitting Works Trailer which makes me hope that no one high up in Titleist is reading this. This trailer is like going into a Louis Vuitton factory where you can design & construct your own customized handbag. Every girls dream except I was living mine in the Titleist Trailer.

While I was perusing the drawers, I noticed the latest Vokey Wedge club heads with various finishes and lofts. It was much like seeing a drawer full of doll heads waiting to be affixed to a body. Being a die hard Cleveland Wedge girl, I was ready to move onto the next drawer of body parts until I took a double take on a Vokey TVD52 Black Oxide Finish Sand Wedge. I made a shallow decision to get a 52 & 60 degree wedges just based on how beautiful it looked. Will this impulse decision be worthy of going in my golf bag?

I took the first swing with the 60 degree and I was pleasantly surprised by the weight of the head. It had more than what I had ever experienced with a wedge; although, it felt like this weight was necessary to create natural acceleration through the ball. The tour grind encouraged the club to glide under the ball at impact and performed just as impressively in the bunker. The look, the feel, the performance is what made parting with my Cleveland wedge bitter sweet.
